Taiwan is not an independent country, it is managed by the PRC. U.N. does not recognized taiwan. any joint venture will still pass thru China's approval, and it will be a joint venture with china, not taiwan.

taiwan has been pressing for independence. but such move is actually a provocation of invasion from mainland china. taiwan is more like an orphan country, where 900++ missiles is pointed at when they make wrong move.

This is another one of those international incidents that P-Noy has poo-pooed. The Hong Kong tourist massacre is still fresh in everyone's memory. If you're going to put 50 holes on a boat, don't train your sights on the fisherman who probably couldn't understand English. Hit the boat's hull, the rudder....anything. Killing should've been the last resort. They lost a life, and we wonder why they're angry?
