Ang significant achievement ni Rama kay iya napilidi si Osmena... despite the foothold sa BOPK.

There's a reason why #1 councillor si Margot and most of the councillors kay BOPK BUT pildi si Tomas.... it just means to say that people are happy with BOPK but they are tired of Tomas already with his arrogance and divisive nature. Kapuyan na ang tao ug leader nga sigi lang ug pangaway , pangdumot unya di mag klaro kung unsa gyud iyang vision for the City ...

A telling sign was Tomas' performance as a congressman. Bisag unsa pa unta nga government position, dapat maninguha unta ka nga makatabang sa constituents... ang iyaha kay i-protect ra iyang pinagga nga Srp.. unya magpahambug sa iyang police car nga nindot. Manghatsg pa gyud sa iyang pork barrel didto sa kang Gullas nga district imbis gamiton para tabang sa south district.

Kung sa NBA pa, si Tomas past his prime na. Di nata maka expect nga pareha siya ka maayo as before tungod sa iyang dumot dumot ug iya health issues plus iya pagka arrogante. Tinuod nga maayo si Tomas unya daghan siya nahimo.... pero that was a decade ago. the Tomas we knew before is no longer the Tomas we have now... its high time people realize and accept that.

This doesn't answer my question ... you're pointing out Tomas' flaws in your own opinion yet you said nothing of what RAMA did during his first term.

Im not exactly a fan of Rama. Nor am I that privvy sa projects nga iyang gi buhat. You can check his accomplishments sa iyang campaign ads.

Based lang on personal nako nga nakit-an, gi tarong to niya ang public hospital, naay mga bag-o nga parks, ang fort san pedro ni ubos ang entrance fee, unya included na ang guided nga tour.

-wala nay away away with the province (posting stupid signs like "Please dim ur lights, this is not the province" , or "SRP : suya ra ang probinsya" )

Anyway, Mike rama's a very approachable person unya once u meet him maka hinumdom gyud siya nimo. I also met Tomas na and according to people in the media, Pikon daw si Tomas if u ask him a sensitive question ( to the point nga masuko sya then pagawson ka sa room... mike rama is more civil but he does give boring /long winded speeches).

Read back lang ani nga thread , naa toy tarp containing his accomplishments.. kapuy balik balik ug mention things nga na hisgot na sauna.

I have things I like and dislike about both of them. i just believe nga Tomas is past his prime already. 10 years ago, Tomas ko definitely... karon.... Mike Is better by far.

Oh and one more thing I noticed kay gipadayon ni Rama ang mga nasugdan nga mga projects even if dili siya ang ga start. This to me shows nga he puts the interests of Cebuanos above taking credit for projects. He managed to work with the City Council despite it being dominated by BOPK. I know this because one of the councillors is my relative. During one of the session nila after nag split na si Tomas ug si Mike then gi disown na si Rama sa BOPk. Rama pleaded with the council to set aside politics till 2013. Though naa ghapoy babag babag nahitabo, this kind of shows what type of Leader Rama is. Though nearing the end sa iyang term bati lang tong nahitabo sa City Hall where nag loyalty check siya then naay nag walk out.

Pero at the end of the day, it boils down to this... Cebu is progressing regardless of who the Mayor is. Kung kabantay ka, daghan mga drainage projects gipangbuhat BEFORE gi fix ang roads which to me is the right way of doing it. Gi scrape ang aspalto and nag relayering compared to sauna nga tabunan lang unya maguba nasad inig rainy season. Whoever is responsible ana... kudos to them.
