They are obviously gluttons for punishment. We can watch the decline of Manila from a safe distance. I wonder how long before the first major scandal?

I actually have the fortunate (or is it unfortunate?) chance to witness the decline first hand. I'm in Quiapo right now and the first thing I noticed is that the "kuligligs" have started to run amok into major roads. And it definitely added burden on the already-burdened traffic situation in Metro Manila.

I interviewed one the guards here in our warehouse and he said that when Mayor Lim conceded to Erap, hoardes of these kuligligs took it to the streets, cheering! Imagine that!

I could remember then Mayor Lim banning these kuligligs because their drivers usually nonchalantly violate traffic rules by resorting to counterflows and bullying other motorists. These types of transportation cannot also be registered to LTO because the motors they use is against a provision in the Clean Air Act.
