good day mga ka istoryans

just wanna ask if anybody here knows how to capture video from satellite tv

i'll be subscribing a pay per view of the PAC-MAR trilogy this sunday
the source would be the HDMI OUTof my satellite digital cable box
im planning to capture said event on my laptop

is there anyway i can do that?
what software will i need and what extra hardware if any

murag late naman ni kay human naman ang pacquiao but kng for future use, camtasia is the best screen recorder for me, it also offer high video compression at a very good quality video, the latest version is camtasia 7.1.1 build 1785

Murag wala man matubag ang gikinahanglan nimo brod.
Tanawa if duna ba hdmi port ang imu laptop.then gamita ang hdmi cable dritso sa imo laptop.pag-install ug nero 12 (kun naaka installer) for capturing, kami editors kay adobe premiere & sony vegas man amoa gigamit.ikaw nero lang kay sayun ra kaayo gamiton.
note: make it sure nga ang imu laptop is taas ug specs, labi na sa graphics. dapat capable imu laptop mu capture ug hd video from any source.kun wala ka nero software.adto sa Windows Media Center (win7).
