Yes you can because they employ the same architecture. The bios revision is only there to activate additional features and address compatibility issues that may arise during the operation itself but should have no problems with loading and flashing the bios.

As much as possible update your bios as soon as you boot the first time. You might encounter bugs in the windows environment.
Safest way to update bios is outside the windows environment via a boot disk/bootable usb.
