PPRV has temporarily halted the release of unofficial votes as of 8:51 PM on Monday.
The stoppage came from the inflated vote counts that the PPRV has been resulting since the parallel count began earlier.
The PPRCV has said that the number of votes in the partial tally is too high for the canvassed precincts, and has asked Smartmatic to explain the faulty data.
"We are requesting Smartmatic to fix the script and issue an explanation. We apologize to those who have read the data. We are requesting it to be fixed. We cannot continue relaying data that requires double checking."
The PPCRV has issued the following statement in their official Twitter account:
"With apologies to the public, the results do not match precinct votes. Smartmatic made to explain the gap. Until then PPCRV will no longer be releasing data/unofficial results until Smartmatic explains gap."
Ana Singson, Communications and Media Director of PPCRV, explained the inflated vote count as a formatiing issue that led to double counts. She adds that they will not relay data unless we make one more consistency check to make sure all is aligned.
