this manga probably has the worst ending. i mean seriously.. mao guro ni pinaka dissapointed ko...

mao ni ang wa nako na sabtan..

1.) how did the airplane get to raika island?
2.) whatever happend adto guy nga nag mask?
3.) what happend to the rest of the world?
4.) how come naa mga tao nga na separated sa airplane when in fact, the airplane was intact when it crashed?
5.) what happend to the other survivors?

ako theories kay:
1.) clone ra sila tanan and were awakened at the perfect time.. (y not clone humans. clone gali extinct animals)
2.) purely imagination ra to sila tanan sa mama..

The clone theory is the most probable, but the question is...why can they still remember the plane crash. If everyone in the plane was cloned using DNA materials extracted from their families(like hair brush, toothbrush, etc), how can they have memories of the plane crash? Or it's possible that those memories where implanted when they were being cloned?

So many questions still unanswered, like what you said above. To add more, what happened to Kohei Arita, to Hades(guy in the mask), to the Pilot (I haven't seen him got eaten by animals of the island). And I thought Zanji would reappear somehow, but was he really dead?

If they are indeed cloned, it's also possible that when they return to Japan, they will face a different world.

Well, one way or another....the ending is somewhat lacking in some points because not all questions where answered, not all anomalies explained further. But if you look at it in another angle, it would be too boring if all mysteries, questions, anomalies are laid down and explained to every point. The author left some for the readers to wonder and decide the ending for themselves.

true true.. but i really think it ended too soon... its ok to leave some thing open ended. but the ending just leaves us more questions,... maybe in preperation for sequel?

look at gantz.. same author... plot seems to be going downhill and the pace seems to be too hurried.. i think the author is almost out of ideas
