    Update:

Supposedly I'm going to add extra on my "single fund"
but I decided to hold on to my extra stash while I'm still
looking for a job. Lisod man diay ui magtan-aw sa balance
sa "survival fund" nako magkaubos since I'm paying my
way from gas, food and other luho this summer.

Since I quit my job and got my last pay, I stopped asking
money from my family since feel nako baga na jud ko face
to even ask lols... Right now, I'm starting to feel the crunch
na... I can't wait to finally have my monthly income so I can
    start saving up again.

Saving for my future is really a struggle since I'm very indulgent
and being FRUGAL is never in my vocabulary lols..

When it comes to investments, I'm too old-fashioned and rather
have it in the bank. Hadlok ko anang Mga stocks or other forms
to increase my worth. As for business plans, I have a lot of ideas
yet I don't have sufficient funds pa to start. So on hold sa tanan.

    Hahayssss.

I just hope that you're aware about what inflation is and how it affects the value of your money.
Holding on to it or even letting it stay in the bank will just make it lose its value in the long run.

I just don't want to get into something that I have no knowledge of.
That's why I have my single fund in my choice of bank because that's
the safest way for me to keep it. Besides, I didn't put all my money in
there so I won't have to worry.

@beyee: if your immediate concern is to get a job, then don't stop until you secure one. your business ideas will always be there anyways.

Its good to know a lot of peeps here are aware of how important it is to be financially aware and knowing how to manage your funds. still i have long wayto go but hopefully i was able to invest in proper vehicles.
    Age- 30
Investment- have a traditional and mutual funds with 2 insurance firms, planning to get another 1 and dabble by my own in stocks hehehe.. Process of buying a house and lot with special someone.
Savings liquid- 6 digit sa bank enough to cover for the 6 month rule in emergency fund

The trick is really knowing what are your needs and wants. Also, not to be a slave of money and deprive yourself of the ability the perks of having it. We always say we say we save for the future, but its not so bad to enjoy and indulge your present self who worked and budgeted so hard to achieve your future goals
