    Sorry to burst your bubble but that guy was busted for lying... The whole book was exaggerated and overly embellished. he never went to a mental institution nor was he "wanted in 3 states". There was an in-depth investigation and they found out that major key parts of the book were indeed fabricated. Almost everything he wrote in his supposed autobiography was purely fiction... Oprah even gave him a big scolding calling him a "liar" on national television. The book hasn't been taken off but has been re-labeled as "fiction".

    greek mythologies.. dan brown's books.. edgar allan poe's stories... the apple cider house rules (? something like that, not sure of the exact title).. canterbury tales... wild swans.. the bible... oscar wilde's (or was it him?) story bout that selfish giant.. and so on.. and so forth..

    loved it..very mind boggling and it really gives the chills..

    and "angels and demons" by Dan Brown.. hehehe.. fantastic! If I read the Da Vinci Code(which I haven't) I bet it would be a part of this.. hehe

    Right now if I have to choose only one, it'll have to be I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith. Also author of 101 Dalmatians. I'm reading it now for the third time, and it's not like me to read books twice. I only get as far as telling myself I will and then I won't.
