Looking back to the early days of the Radaza administration, fearless and sky-high overpricing already existed in city hall purchases:

The City bought 30 boxes of surgical gloves from Basic Pharmaceutical at P2,690 per box or a total of P80,700.

The lamp post issue on Radaza is very misleading. The choice of contractor, the bidding and the release of funds was not at the city level but with DPWH. The city of Lapulapu's only participation in the lamp post controversy was the signing of the POWE already prepared by DPWH. Not a single cent was taken from lapulapu city coffers and Radaza has no control over the DPWH funds. If there are people who were enriched with the lampposts, its the DPWH peeps.
If indeed talks that Radaza mulcts money from LLC businessmen are true, at least he did not steal money from the city coffers. Corruption, in any form, is bad. But between asking commission from businessmen and using the city treasury as the main source of fund for personal expenses including the food, clothing, shelter and expensive lifestyle of one whole family, i think the first one is more tolerable.
It is just too bad that LLC dont have much choices for leaders of the city. But between the two, i'l go for the lesser evil. I'll go for Radaza.
DPWH peeps gives money to radaza for him to sign the POWE(bribe). If radaza read the POWE,(i doubt it if he can or has time for that), he would have investigated it first. it is his responsibility since he is the mayor of the city. And where does DPWH get there funds? isnt it from the national funds? and your saying not a single cent wasnt taken from lapu lapu city coffers.
i dont think its a good way of inviting business in lapulapu city by asking commission from businessmen. dont youremember bigfoot entertainment? they almost back out when they were ask 20M php by, you know who. and you think people from lapu lapu city can benefit from this? no no it goes straight to there own pocket. is this a good public servant?
there are a lot of good leaders in lapu lapu city, its just too bad they dont have enough money to run for a position.
