Ang Windows Vista naay gitawag ug "ReadyBoost". According to WikiPedia, "ReadyBoost is a disk caching technology first included with Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system. It aims to make computers running Windows Vista more responsive by using flash memory on a USB 2.0 drive, SD card, CompactFlash, or other form of flash memory, in order to boost system performance."

to you guys who get the idea na windows vista is bad...maybe it is for you... im currently using Win Vista Ultimate right now almost 1 month na... and all my hardware and softwares are pretty functional and compatible.. working tanan... basig outdated nana inyo PCs.. hehehe.. bitaw... at first i thought win vista was not right for my pc.. pero nangita ko tanan drivers para sa tanan nakong hardware.. i know vista will do great in the long run... my vista is fine, running only at 1G of ram... paspas man.. I dont have any problem using vista..

i know someday youll get a Vista... hahaha..

although vista is a memory hog... but its worth it...

i think ill stick with my Vista!

Vista takes up 400 - 550mb of my 1GB stick. And it's still fast. Not a resource hog for me especiall since I'll be adding 2 more gigs. this is on a laptop btw, with embedded graphics chipset, not your monster ATI or Nvidia gaming pc.

security features are a bit annoying....other than that, you can feel the "fluidity" of the interface..but until SP1 comes out, i'll stick with my glass-skinned XP.

what major incompatabilities did you have? so far I have found none. even installed sonique circa 2001. works fine.

Sound Max HD and other HD Audio Devices seem to have problems with Vista. ^_^

did i say some incompatibilities of vista experienced by me? didnt say one. but others did experienced as you shall read around here..

i never tried vista yet kay hilaw pa na nga mangga, aslom. unya ra inig hinog kay motam-is nana.

lucky for you if naa kay asin dinha pangsugpo sa aslom. not like me here, my specs are non-vista supported/optimized, so as most software now, so better i wont take steps yet. hope you get my point.

vista is good, bad lang ang vista kung ang imo'ng hardware way ayo, meaning daan na or no updated drivers for ms vista. kung dili vista compatible imo'ng mga hardware pag XP na lang, ingon ana ra kasayon. but for me vista is good, very good.

Still happy with my XP. If you're a gamer, I suggest installing Vista later when most gaming companies have already "assimilated" their softwares with Vista. Naa pa gyud porblem ang Vista with licensed softwares -kuti. Also, you'll really need a kick ass PC to support the Vista requirements
