Hello Istoryans,

i have a system unit core 2 duo e4700 with 1gb Ram 667 Generic 500w Psu and a gigabyte Mobo. This unit was used as personal for a year and a coin operated pc there after.

Let's go straight to the problem. One day nikalit nalang og Off after 5 seconds na i on nako ang ako unit. My first suspect is Guba ang iya Power supply so i test the supply and it seemed nga okay raman..just to be sure i bought a new 1 hoping nga
mo andar pagbalik ang ako unit. Sadly, wala jud ni andar.

So here's my conclusion. I suspect nga guba jud ang iyang MOBO since d man siya kasugakod nig on nako ma off ra daun siya but here's nkapadoubt nako kay kung guba pa ang Mobo niya wala man sad koy nkita nga nag burot nga caps(capacitor)

Ahak, abi nakog killer imung pasabot or kawatan lol... Kung naa kay extra parts e swap swap lang then diha nimu ma identify ang problem... Kung wala ka parts, dad-a nalang na didto sa shop, PC express etc.

^ haha grabeh nalibog ko gamay sa pagbasa imu gisulat master butitoy da. on off on off on off nlng plss para madali, hahaha.
mao pod, RAM pod akong hinala ana murag ka surrenderon na siya. kung naa k extra/spare ram ts, pakitry na lang pod daan kung mao raba gihapon symptoms.

cge2 master ako ni itry karon kung mogana ba..mgkuha kog xtra nga RAM sa lain nako nga pc...

about sa title..ako na gituyo para catchy and bsin naa pud uban nga pareho problema bah..anywas salamat sa tanan tambag

basig overheating.... cpu walay thermal paste? or gamay ra.

ug ni on gani for 5secs then ni off, for me its not the psu, I would go and check for the thermal paste sa cpu then check if the heat sink is securely fastened.
