So what is your opinion bro, thus CFI coop will become a Legacy scandal as what Tomas is saying?

All I can say is, even with the amounts redemption is posting, the regular savings rate offered by banks is between 1-2% per annum. This cooperative is promising interest at between 15 to 20 times the amount banks are offering. It's a 7 billion coop? Geezuz christ.. it must be great then.. oh wait.. RCBC which is a relatively small bank has a capitalization of 70 BILLION pesos.

So let's put things in perspective. A coop has a capitalization of 7 billion, offers interest at 15-20 times that of a bank, which has a capitalization of 70 BILLION pesos.

OK, don't let anyone tell you what to do with your money. Do the math, use logic. There is no such thing as easy money. There is however, such a thing as an easy way to lose money.

But I admit that coops do usually earn higher interest than banks. But more than 10x? That would make me suspicious, like I said Metrobank which has some of the top financial minds in the country couldn't even sustain their 5-yr double your money promo which has an effective interest rate lower than what the coop is offering. So the people who run this coop have to be smarter than the owners of Metrobank for me to sleep soundly if I put my money there. In any case, it's your money. Before Aman futures collapsed I have been warning people here about the scam but some people got personal and resorted to name-calling. I bet those people are crying now. CFI is not Aman, but I believe the risk is still to large. That kind of interest never comes risk-free. If people put their money here they better not be thinking it's like putting their money in the bank. They are putting their money in a risky cooperative, not a stable bank...

im not a cebu city voter , but ive been closely following the latest developments in cebu city , political or economic , but if i were a voter in the city , i will vote for Mike Rama . sa ako nakita in his three short years , naa man jud siya agi even though bando osmena ang mga councilors , what more if all were on his side, if ever mapili siya and will be having the majority of councilors on his side ,maybe he can do more . ang usa sa pinaka main agi ni mike is ang city hospital which his predecessor wanted to privatized before , i see it as anti poor . mao ra ,my two cents worth .
