succumb to temptations that could hurt your relationship, in short

... via words and actions, these should be constant to keep the flame
and passion burning... once the embers have gone cold, problems
set in and temper will replace such affection which could get ugly
in the end

Communication
... understanding each others' differences can only be attained once
you both are open to talk each others' issues and either parties are
willing to listen and committed to work things out... Mind games and
"pataasay sa ihi" are not beneficial to sustaining a relationship so do
away with these bad stuff

Trust
... is gained once you assure your partner that you are worthy of such.
Once it's broken, it is so hard to earn it again...
