Are we saved by faith alone, or do we need works, too?

Actually, salvation bro is not about going to heaven or hell, it is about having the divine life of God in Christ. If you dont have Christ, then you dont have salvation. This is for the purpose of fulfilling the eternal purpose of God in His DIVINE ECONOMY (Ephesians 1:9-10). He is not as narrow as sending people to hell because they did not believe in Christ, the son of God. God knew that 2k years before the advent of Christ there were people who have lived in Ifugao building the terraces without knowing the Lord in Israel. But God did not stressed this so much in the bible because He really wants us to believe in Christ as our saviour. Those are not saved but passed the great white judgement will enter eternity. Revelation 20:11

i somehow find both as Same..that there are 2 Final destinations eternal Life(salvation in Heaven or wherever as long as with the Lord)
or eternal damnation in Hell or wherever with the Accuser.

I have full trust in God and worship him with all my heart, mind and limbs. I feel better knowing that I deserve God's pleasure by working hard to do good in this life so that I spend eternity in a better place.

I just want to ask. Dont you think that "deserveness" doesnt have assurance and security? Why would you take your chances when your eternity is at stake?

Listen, we don't even deserve what we have right now. The blessings He has given us: Our eyes, hands, legs, family, money, food, etc. They are all given to us by God and they all belong to Him. Any day, in a blink of an eye, they can be taken away from us. So I cannot live this life thinking nothing is gonna happen to me let alone thinking that I'm gonna be handed paradise on a silver platter.

How could you say that? Well, In a sense, New Jerusalem is heaven. But New Jerusalem will be coming out of heaven to earth in Revelation 21: 2. So heaven ABOVE is not the final destination of the believers but the NJ on earth. Please read these verses below

Hebrews 12:22
But you have come forward to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels, to the universal gathering;

Revelation 21:2
And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.


By the way the accuser satan is not yet in hell.
