This is quite a touchy subject because first of all, who will be saved? Only the Christians? Now which Christians because there are a lot of Christians. The Roman Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Baptists... Etc.

Now we go to the non-Christians like Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims. Now how shall they attain salvation? Do they have to convert?

    Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

It will make the cross of Christ of NO EFFECT if that is the case. It also suggests that we can worship any gods as we like as long as we will do good works.

Do your best, and God will do the rest.

If they dont have Christ in their lives, Absolutely as what the bible says. Ang bible raman sad naghisgot ug langit ug imperno bro.

i got this one from an interview with Lee and Ravi....
In “The Case For Faith” Lee Strobel, the author, interviews Ravi Zacharias, D.D., LL.D., an apparently well-known and respected Christian scholar. When he asks Zacharias how it could be that someone like Gandhi could be sent to hell the reply is, “That’s a tough issue. When I get that question before big audiences, that’s the time I want to take a break!” Well, at least the man’s response was honest. How can there be a sensible answer to something that doesn’t make sense to begin with?

so is Gandhi in Hell right now?

    example break ha,
what if muslim ka sukad pagkabata, you were born into a peace loving muslim home
prays faithfuly to Allah, and almost perfected the Love others as you love yourself Christian commandment..
and you lived in a place where Christian evangelization has never gained access.
so you would only know Jesus as the beloved prophet of Allah, the Messiah but not God.

would an all loving, all merciful and Just God condemn you to Hell?

by the way, Islamic faith teaches about Heaven and Hell, its doctrine even has significant similarities of the Jewish text and Old testament

OnT: Faith verified with works, as Faith can only be justified through actions.
one may claim to be Christian but acts otherwise.

That's is very true, noy. A merciful God would not condemn a good man to hell even if he was non-Christian. I say a good non-Christian is better vs. a Christian who claims to have faith but does not support it with good work.

matud pang Gandhi, "i like your Christ but i don't like your Christians"

if only we did a better job and we take our faith by heart instead of mere owrds
Gandhi might have known Jesus a little more..
