gateway dx 4831-53 MOBO ISSUES

• I have a gateway dx 4831-53

• My problem about this desktop is It doesn't allow me to reformat my O.S I was able to reformat O.S using different desktop (wherein I have to transfer the HDD to my working desktop and had the Installation of O.S done there). I also tried to use a different HDD with o.s installed in it and have it connected to this Computer but it doesn't recognize the O.S on hdd. Anyways.. I believe the problem is the motherboard. I'm contemplating if I buy a new mobo(which is expensive) or have it repaired.

Hahaha the same na sa akoa gateway laptop before.the problem is not in the mobo or HDD.
sayon ra na bro..bro i-try jud force ang boot priority nimo mao ang HDD kun asa nimo install OS, i-disabled tanan other disks..(ayaw gamita ang original OS nga pakapin sa laptop.)..

bisag na.install na nq ang OS gamit laing comp inig connect nq sa aqng gateway di man nuod mu boot derecho sa o.s mu.attemp ug repair... pero qng aq na sad balhin sa aqng h.p, wortk man xa. i5690 ra ba ni nya mao pay wala magamit. waypa aq h.p nga dual core. guol nq ani.. bag.o pa jud aq HDD. windows 8 sad aq install kay 64bit ni xa.
