ah i see... maayo unta mo share ug screen capture diri ang uban na naka Crossfirex para maka hatag ug more light... maka kita ra ka bro siguro sa option pero, dili nimo ma click if single card pa ka...

basically, dili na mo carry na karon. pero, sometimes or often times, ang game support sa Crossfirex and SLI during its initial release is not that optimized... even months will go by, dili gihapon ma optimize but, it can be fixed by both GPU chip manufacturer (AMD or Nvidia) through driver updates as well as the game makers through patches.

for example, sa Beta version sa Crysis 3... kamang tanan GPUs. but when the games was officially released, smooth ra man tanan... karon gani, smooth man gani ang GT 640 DDR3 in playing the game... in med to high quality setting... but atong Beta version pa ang C3, aw, lag tanan... maong mo ingon sila gyud na... "Crysis 3 can melt your PC"...

if mga Crossfirex ka today, you'll reap the rewards after you'll set-up the multi-GPU setting and play the game that supports multi-GPU itself... go go go na bro... hehehe... "let's take the road less taken"... gamay ra man ang naka Crossfirex or SLI dba? maong road less taken ni... hehehe... gasto man lagi but, it's worth it gyud...

AMD's driver team is improving and game developers usually launch their games with cf support already. Triple A games kasagara nin-ana. Kadtong mga less known games however naay chance it will come out without cf support.

Speaking of crossfire, AMD is working on a prototype driver that will significantly improve crossfire performance. Read it here if you're interested Frame Rating: AMD Improves CrossFire with Prototype Driver | Crysis 3

i don't know but maybe most would opt for single card crossfire/sli rather than dual card crossfire/sli.

    added: if two way xfire/sli

maybe, a single card in Crossfire/SLI like the HD6990, GTX 590 & GTX 690 is much cleaner to see inside the chassis compared to a dual card in Crossfire/SLI... or, the budget is there when the card was bought... these cards are very expensive... not everyone can afford during the 1st purchase...

for peeps that have limited budget who'll buy one card at a time (i'm included), this is the case for us. once the budget is ready for the other card, then it's time to spank the 2nd one... hehehe...

but how would the performance stack? I know nga m.divide lang ang load between the 2 cards.. does that mean a 100% increase in performance?? assuming I have an average FPS of 70, then mag.add ko isa ka card, does that mean i get 140 fps

^ in theory, the perfomance would be doubled but in reality, it's not... there are other factors that are needed to be considered. actual performance on games that would support dual GPUs maybe ranges from 60 to 80% max approximate on average... adding a third one dimishes the gain when comparing it in adding the 2nd one...
