Jan "The Goose" Hus - burned at the stake for heresy (speaking against the Eucharist and other Catholic doctrines).
Jerome Savonarola - excommunicated, arrested, tortured and burned to death on the orders of Pope Alexander VI (one of the most wicked Popes in history)
Ulrich Zwingli - killed by a sword and his body burnt because he refused to confess to a Catholic priest
Thomas Cranmer - burnt at the stake for denouncing the Pope as the Antichrist
William Tyndale - burnt at the stake for producing an English copy of the Bible
Patrick Hamilton - burnt at the stake for preaching Protestant doctrine
William Hunter - burned to death at 19 years of age because he was found reading the Bible in English.
@Breakeven - for implying that the Pope is the antichrist and the Catholic Church a form of pagan worship, banned and reincarnated as @shockie.
So you are telling Catholics are guilty, and you Protestants are not?
What about the Catholic Martyrs tortured and killed by Elizabeth I?
What about the 70,000 Catholics whom Henry VIII killed just because they wont accept divorce?
What about the 60,000 peasants ordered to be killed by Martin Luther?
What about Micheal Servetus, burned by Calvin, the Pope of Geneva?
In addition do the
the church that Jesus Christ establish,
has to answer the sins of it's members,
or is it the other way around, and in the end
the sinners the ones culpable to face the sentence,
not the entire that was established.
Please grow up Break.![]()
