i knew lot of them...... but its their preferences, i think hndi nmn cla napapasama so maybe i let them jaz be.. sna lang yung main reason na nagppray cla ay hndi mwala.. mostly they jaz remember to pray when they ask for something.. only few were to pray for thankfulness.

then you need to go out and meet a lot more CAtholics so you'll see that there are only a few of them who would actually consider saints as gods.
and you may wanna read the catechism of the Catholic Church to know what the actual and official teaching of the Church is regarding veneration of saints,
praying to saints and idol worship.

If saints are not considered as Gods, why do "some" people pray TO them?

they are messenger , like Peter, Paul. etc.

Question: Why do people wipe their handkerchiefs on a saint's statue, even mama mary's statue.... When God particularly ordered these to his people? Why have not the priests said anything about this? Are we even aware that we're committing a sin against our Heavenly Father?

Old testaments should be understood and viewed in a christian perspective.. as we know 10 commandments is a law of Moses for the Israelites/jews ONLY. when Jesus came these was amended and simplified.. remember that even Jesus violated the 10 commandments? and was accused of blasphemy for performing a miracle on a sabbath day?

remember also that we christians are not directly under the jewish law anymore because of Jesus..
