then you need to go out and meet a lot more CAtholics so you'll see that there are only a few of them who would actually consider saints as gods.
and you may wanna read the catechism of the Catholic Church to know what the actual and official teaching of the Church is regarding veneration of saints,
praying to saints and idol worship.

curious lang ko sis, did those people actually said verbatimly as in "word for word"
that saints are Gods too? as in like Jesus? and that they worship the saints as God?like how we should worship Jesus?

Klaro baya kayo ni bro, unless ang Ginoo na mismo ang nagsugo.

    Exodus 20
3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God,

they are messenger , like Peter, Paul. etc.

Why do they try their best to wipe their hankies to the image in the belief that they will be healed or that their problems will be solved?
that's religiosity, TUO-TUO in in common words, a very infantile faith, very vulnerable

the RCC does not teach that, in Fact , priest now a days, specially at San Roque Parish , Wireless mandaue vocally said, ang buwak sa caro dili makaluwas! etc.

but that's filipino in general. balme it on the 400years indoctrination of the spanish ( prison from mexico ) priest of that time who use Church Dogma for personal gains,

in all magisterium i heard yearly, i never heard that RCC advocate such religiosity.

but rather exhort masses to truly know GOD and LOVE GOD in the heart and not just lip service.

Mao na akong question ever since. Take note of the word "some", because I know not all Catholics are practicing this.

    Isaiah 44:9-20
"All who fashion idols are nothing, and the things they delight in do not profit. Their witnesses neither see nor know, that they may be put to shame. Who fashions a god or casts an idol that is profitable for nothing? Behold, all his companions shall be put to shame, and the craftsmen are only human. Let them all assemble, let them stand forth. They shall be terrified; they shall be put to shame together. The ironsmith takes a cutting tool and works it over the coals. He fashions it with hammers and works it with his strong arm. He becomes hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water and is faint. The carpenter stretches a line; he marks it out with a pencil. He shapes it with planes and marks it with a compass. He shapes it into the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to dwell in a house. ... "

Question: Why do people wipe their handkerchiefs on a saint's statue, even mama mary's statue.... When God particularly ordered these to his people? Why have not the priests said anything about this? Are we even aware that we're committing a sin against our Heavenly Father?
Old testaments should be understood and viewed in a christian perspective.. as we know 10 commandments is a law of Moses for the Israelites/jews ONLY. when Jesus came these was amended and simplified.. remember that even Jesus violated the 10 commandments? and was accused of blasphemy for performing a miracle on a sabbath day?

remember also that we christians are not directly under the jewish law anymore because of Jesus..
