One of my religion teacher answer me this: they are the messengers who'll deliver your prayers to our Lord. from the question why do we pray to saints? actually im confuse that time and still keep on asking her, can't we jaz pray directly to the Lord so no messengers needed?
wouldn't have bothered to react but was a bit thrown off by your "born against" word play.
If saints are not considered as Gods, why do "some" people pray TO them? Why do they try their best to wipe their hankies to the image in the belief that they will be healed or that their problems will be solved?
Mao na akong question ever since. Take note of the word "some", because I know not all Catholics are practicing this.
Please know the difference between worship and veneration sis.

regarding trapo2x, it's a personal way of venerating..i don't do it kay wala lang ko na convict, i'm more on trying to follow the saint's examples.
but i don't have problems with other catholics "trapo2x" hehehe...like i said it's personal
Like sa pagtrapo sa picture sa atong palalabs hinlabi na ug nalayo or di ba kaha poster or item sa usa ka TV personality nga atong gihangaan nga naa sa ato.![]()
point is, as long as the catechism of the Catholic Church is concerned kay Saints are honored, considered as prayer wariors(departed lang kay we also have prayer wariors who are still with us) but NOT worshiped.![]()
