This rumored chip is targeted for hardcore overclocking enthusiasts. Synthetic benchmark results, game performance results, real world performance results, power consumption it doesn't matter. It's a 5ghz chip ( or as what rumor says it will be ). That's one way ticket to oc heaven , that's all that matters.

wala lami ang uber upper CPU tier ron... wala man ma atbang ang AMD on the enthusiast level CPU sa SB-E... so, wla mag pagawas ug IB-E ang Intel pud...

^IB-E is already on the way, supposedly 10% faster than SB-E anyway on topic obviously if you put this on a non enthusiast thread then the typical reply like power consumption, heat, intel's faster blah2 pops out like mushrooms. This topic needs the right audience, and it ain't here.

yup, this product by AMD is targeted to the enthusiast crowd... power consumption is not taken into consideration... what is considered is the raw speed... the OC'ing speed and capability... benchmarking results... and all that are related for record breaking...

just saw a set of DDR3 2888 MHz modules sa online shops diri... Avexir Core Series... 16GB (4x4GB) kit cost an eye popping 2,600 rmb (roughly 18,200 php)... then ang Corsair Dominator 16GB (4x4Gb) kit cost another eye popping and jaw dropping 3,350 rmb (roughly 23,450 php) ... tuwing wing wing... these are really intended for the "enthusiast market segment"...
