^ yes, you're right... wala lang ang eye candy through nvidia physx...
PC 7950, mao na akong card karon,
btw, ang bios sa PC 7950 nga tag 10k is ang stock, ako g flash sa boost bios 925/1250 sauna, it performs as a beast, pero karon akong g flash sa PC nga overclock ed, 880/1250, higher clock, pero low ang voltage, meaning mas bugnaw
^ bro, is that a 980/1250 or a 880/1250 BIOS update? if mag down clock, mao ni ang low voltage & mas bugnaw... naka mention man gud ka'g "higher clock" basin "lower clock"... clarification lang...
880/1250 imean higher clock sya sa default bios pag palit which is 800 / 1250, load voltage sa stock is 1.13 something and sa akong 880/1250 voltage at load is .920++++ something
With that bios, most probably you'd get errors during load. Those voltages were meant for the overclocked edition which are specially binned chips that are proven to work at those low voltages. Try to stress test it bro. Personally, what i do is i take 0.05v from the original voltage then find out the maximum stable overclock. Then i edit the bios with those clocks and voltages then flash it...
If ts plays games with physx then he might want to consider going for the 660 Ti. But then again, "how many triple A title games nowadays sports Physx?" TS can always add a dedicated nvidia card dedicated for physx, if he's resourceful enough.
@TS what resolution will you be running the card at? Assuming it will be 1080p, here the performance summary,
@voltages
currently running mine at 950/1370 from 800/1250, voltage at 1.04. So there's a great chance flashing to an oc edtion will work fine given you got a higher asic chip or a reference HD7970 pcb.
