About LCD resolutions (pc-HDTV)

@DSX: If i use powerstrip is there a default button just in case i got lost in wen i edit my LCD properties? wer do i download this? In my 2nd LCD which is 1366x768. Do i only just adjust the resolution in the powerstrip to 1366x768 or you need extra tweaking other than that to have have a clear view in your LCD?

there is an emergency "button" that you press to reset it to defaults in case something happens. google "PowerStrip" and checkout the first result.

i did have to do extra tweaking to remove that "bold" vertical columns issue. but hopefully you dont have to. just try it out, interface is pretty easy and tweaks are just the "mix n match" type until you get the desired effect.

tip to check if you have the same effect as mine:
open up notepad and fill the entire page with the number "8", you can easily checkout if there are any anomalies in the text pattern.

@DSX: bro if 1360x768 (not 1366x768 as for the right resolution for lcd tv) ra gamit nko ako LCD di na mo matter sa Movie and games? i only use my 2ndary for games and movies. di nko knhanlan mo gamit powerstrip ana? should i use clone or dual view?

i would recommend dual view. the one wherein you just extend the desktop. if movies lang imo gamit sa 2nd monitor, it's ok. no need to use powerstrip.
i had no problems with XP as to the available resolutions. 1360x768 is readily available, but with vista, i had to run powerstrip and configure it to support 1360x765 (not the native resolution) but it works fine since i just use it for movies too. once the new resolution is available in the display panel, you can remove powerstrip just like what i did.

Movies and game lang ako gamit. Sa dual view pwede ko mag duwa sa ako primary then mag pa salida movies sa ako secondary? So ok ra di na i configure sa 2nd monitor ang exact 1366x768. Cool!!!

@DSX: Bro tnx au. mna ko setup ako lcd monitor and my 32inch samsung lcd tv. Bro unsa imo gamit sa PC to LCD TV? PC analog? ingon sila mas clear if gamit DVI or HDMI pero wla man ta ana available dri pinas.

analog / vga ra akong gamit. wala may DVI ako 32" nga LCD. since movie ra imo gamiton sa secondary, payter ra kaayu ang VGA.

Ok ra ang VGA? Other say na mas nindot HDMI or DVI-D. Dugay nko nangita DVI-D - HDMI adapter. bsan sa manila wla jd. nahan ta ko kta sa difference since mas clear daw ang signal sa HDMI/DVI-D. Mna ko set up tanan. abi nko if dual ma mura duha imo pc. di man diay. Ma transfer lang nmo if work sa lain monitor.
