finally saw the actual unit personally and i'm rather errr unimpressed by the overall design. not as good as it was on the pictures

it feels thick on the hand and kind of uncomfortable (too boxy and sharp on the edges and very slippery on the surface). sa tinud-anay lang mas nindot pa paminawon sa akong kamot ang Omega HD sa akong igsoon. Xperia Z just happens to look better at first glance because of the colors (a choice between black and purple)

i don't see the iPhone comparison for this one. mas morag iPhone ang aesthetics sa HTC One kaysa sa Xperia Z, at least based on the pictures. i have yet to see HTC One sa personal though

i tested this ganina and mao ni akong assessment.

pros:
-excellent screen, makita jud nimo ang difference compare sa note-2.
-camera is good (both front and back)
-speakers are good (not as bad as they say sa mga online reviews). i'm going to use headphones or headset anyways.
-gwapo, choi.
-fits fine sa pocket bisag skinny jeans.

cons:
-grabe ka fingerprint magnet. smudge magnet. need jud ang flipcase para ani,
-the dreaded camera-app lag is there! it exist! it takes 3-4 seconds para malaunch ang camera app.
-too boxy, too square for my liking.
-still too pricey for me.

ang pagka-waterproof and dustproof ani ang iyang strongest point. nabag-uhan ko ani na phone. I find it too boxy. maybe naanad lang ko sa mga samsung phones na medyo rounded ang likod. lisoran ko itext gamit usa kamot. i hope sony will come up with a fix for the camera-app lag. wa pa pud sila baligya docking station para macharge ang phone without opening the flap. mahalan ra pud ko, 30k sa ayala although 26.4k nalang ni kang madam kim. huwat2x lang sa ko sa ubang phones. timing kaayo mga 3rd quarter this year dako2x na jud ang price drop ani.

I think wala man cla ma left behind. Sikat lang jud kau dri ang samsung ug htc sa pinas. But sa gawas kusog man ang Sony.
Gnhan ko sa ilang Xperia phones, sa quality nindot jud xa. Layu ra gneh na ang samsung ug htc sa quality lang.

agree jud ko... cgro tungod sa waterproof og dust proof resistant tha's why na sacrifice ang quality sa speaker pero parho nko na user nga mas prefer mn nko headset kung maminaw ko music.. ok ghpon xperiaz Z pero i think i will give more time for experia z to mature enough.. lisud kaayo sa pagkakaron kay buggy pa og di p kaayo stable..

kung dili lang jud ni siya waterproof, i would never take a second look at this phone. the HTC one and Oppo Find 5 are both on the top of my list, if ever!
