What are your fondest memories with your Dad? :-)

Because of my dad's mistakes, murag nakalimot nako sa akong fondest memories with him. Ambot lang, I keep on trying to remember but murag wala jud

boyish ko sauna bata pako.. gasunod man gud kog 2 ka kuya..
so tanan trip nila kuya og papa uban jod ko ana perme..

--si papa ang nagtudlo nako unsaon pag-bike..

--bsta masuko c mama ky puro panlalaki akong sinina, di ko musuot og pambabae... si papa jod and to the rescue nako perme, muana dayun si papa kang mama

--nya everytime ting sweldo ni papa, mangadto mi whole family sa syudad ky mukaon sa jolibee & magshopping..

--hilig sad kaayo si papa mag-tell og stories.. ma-funny pa na or ma horror... pero kasagaran horror nya dala bugal2..
mag-circle ming tanan sa sala, maminaw niya.. nya kung pakuratan mi niya, kaming tanan jod kuyawan.


--pinakama-miss jod nako kang papa, bata pako kanang magbagyo sa amua kanang as in signal no.3 na ang hangin/ulan... lutoan mi ni papa og noodles plus buwad... simple ra kaayo nga sud-an pero para nako pinaka da best na to na sud-an everytime bagyo sa amua.. bsta gud walay noodles og buwad bsta bagyo kay mu-request jod mi ni papa na magluto sya..
mao na bisan hantod karon...basta bagyo2 na gane.. makaremember jod ko sa noodles og buwad na lutoon ni papa perme..

i've seen my father when i was 21, sa skwelahan nga gitudluan nya.
but he was indifferent to me... while i, on the other hand, was feeling ecstatic to see him the first time.
disappointing, yes.

it may not be the fondest, but at least i've seen him finally.
im not mad at all kay i grew up without him. it was fine to me.
pero i have no plans to see him again puhon. sakto na tong kaisa.

daghan. .hehe i'm close to my dad. "daddysgirl" kaau ko. Kuyog mi pirme sa ako dad ug kuya kng mo play xa basketball b4. Xa poi ga tudlo nko duwa ug basket, kay wa ko niya sugti mg basketball class kay basin ma tomboy dw ko. Nya pirme jd mi kuyog mag watch movies and television (hantod krn).

Fathers in their tough facade always have a softer side in their core.
Just recently he proved me that.

This is the first time I've been away from home for so long.. Close to
two weeks or more now going to places for the first time as part of
my bucket list.

I made a decision not to call home everyday so I won't get homesick.
When I gave a surprise call to my Dad, I heard him crying on the other
line and told me,

"Langga, mingaw naman ayo ko nimo. Nus-a man jud ka uli?"

I was moved by what he said. Then in the midst of my vacation bliss, I
felt a pang of loneliness and the longingness to go home...

*sighs*

It sure feels heartwarming to be missed and needed
