Lumad Basakanon's attempt to pursue the city government for financial support upon joining the Aliwan Festival 2013 had not been successful and made Sinulog and Aliwan fans cried with such grief and disaapointment. However, despite the absence of Aliwan Festival's Hall of Famer, Cebu's Sinulog Festival Queen 2013 Jamie Herrell bagged the crown as Aliwan Festival Queen and a 5th time sweep for Cebu City's reign over the throne.
Congratulations and Kudos to all the winners.
If Lumad had showerd up, it would be a double victory for Cebu and it's tourism. (I suppose)
