nope,if you've got that strong conviction of being yourself,then I see no reasons trying to look like these Koreans....for what? so basically we cannot put your personal experiences in a general context. I also have friends who work for them but they're same....maybe it depends on the academy's culture

mao jud... assuming man sad gud na sila nga "aliens" sila diri, some of them feel like they're having somewhat a luxurious living here,the prices of commodities are lower ( Korean won value is high)

mao ng sometimes dili ko ganahan idea sa kana buddy-buddy system sa teacher ug student, most of time uyab uyabon rman na sa mga koreano ato cebuanas, then they will just leave them after...and i dont know if ako rba naka bantay ani ha, but so far english schools for koreans here dont generally accept males as teachers, females jd bah...ug ngano gd, nga trabaho man unta ang gipangita, then why mamili ug employee?

Try to put yourself in their shoes, don't you think that this will also hold true if we Filipinos are the ones looking for a tutor? If this is your concern then you might consider looking at the side of those ESL teachers. They should have set up some limitations especially on the teacher-student relationship. It's their discretion and there's nothing we can do with it, we should respect it. Seeing a Korean having a Filipina GF is no different from two Pinoys lovers or other foreigners having Filipinas as their GFs.

well-written response, it's absolutely their discretion when it comes to what kind of relationship ensues but more often it's a professional one having to deal with them.
