Planning of shifting from INTEL to AMD.. need advise.

Let's accept it. AMD consumption is sh*tty. But the value is well above exceptional and exceptionally hard to resist. Intel user here but would love to have an AMD for its price. Thing is i dont like my rig hot.. The aircon doesnt like it also..

your current set-up is still ok... if you can wait for some months, it would be better... so that you'll do a big upgrade in terms of the micro-architecture... wait for Haswell to arrive. If the performance is acceptable to you, then you can decide again between Haswell and the latest AMD offering and do a decision analysis...

boss ts, meaning, if mag A10 ka, sipa na iya APU daan, pwede na ka dili mag dedicated GPU. pero since naa na ka 660ti, mao na ni recoment si bos sempron na lower model lang kuhaa para MAS maka barato ka, well that of course if you shift to AMD.

Salamat sa pag clarify bro.. am also reading online what you guys have recommend so far. As for the coming Haswell.. I don't think I can handle the expense, kinawat-kawat ra gani nang 660ti nako.. gikan sa last pay from my previous company.. no idea si commander pila akong palit ana.. hehehe

i too want to start a new build, AMD na sad (current nako na setup rn, Lynnfield pa tawn)

don't go A10 or any fushion chip + FM2 board if you are planning to buy a VC

having a discreet VC will void the purpose of the technology and power envelope



and though this is not Buy and Sell ( mods, i'm just giving suggestion ) , at that almost 10K budget

i have ( my friend's items ) a thread on FX6100+AMD 990fx for grabs @ 8K

which is better than any A10 | A8 on performance

not to mention , it costs less too.


anyways, that E8400 is a powerful LGA775 prince of the DualCore hill

still quiet capable and comparable to C2Q6600 | i3 530 in performance

im sure that will still sell like hotcake
