Naa ang mga pagan statues sa Vatican Museums bro. They are there for the future generations to appreciate. They are not objects of worship per se just because the Vatican cared for them. They are still being part of the patrimony of mankind that is being cared for by the Church -- which provides us with great information about people of the past.
How can we understand ancient Christianity if we cant see any evidence of what Christianity has condemned?
How would the world react if the Vatican destroy those ancient pagan images? Luckily, the Pope has not reached the mental level of the Taliban who bombed the ancient Bamiyan Buddhas because it differs from what they believe.
