Ordinarily you will be disqualified from continuing your study in the College of Law once your failure in Bar subjects exceeds 6 units. If I'm not mistaken, immunity simply means that during your first semester, you can fail in as many subjects as possible and still be able to enrol in the next semester without violating the retention policy.

Immunity lasts only during the first semester which means that even if you have immunity but failed more than 6 units during your first semester, you are just a unit away from being disqualified from the College of Law come your second semester.

I had a classmate who was immune during the first semester but failed in all the Bar subjects and he also failed in a couple of Bar subjects during the second semester, he was then disqualified. Do not rely so much on immunity, better focus on studying and passing all you subjects. Good luck!

mas hasol ang JD bai, hehehe naa may thesis gud.. mamatay na gani ko ug basa sa ako basahunon krn palang na LLB ko, what more if mag tuga2 kug JD.. d ko sweeto sa JD jud, all i know is naa silay thesis. ilang subjects same ra sa LLB, the only difference is naay uban na you have to take earlier compared to LLB like Public International Law, naa nas 2nd year dapat, but they make you take it in first year.. ang JD sad kay daghan silag subjects na suwat2 like legal research, legal writing, legal philo.. g.buwag2 nila, unlike LLB na usa rana cla tanan, g.incorporate ug one subject... not sure for JD sa usc, you can compare the prospectos, we were given the chance to transfer to JD, but wala ko kay feel nako hasol mag thesis2, im bad at writing raba.. pero gamit ni if mubalik 100% essay ang BAR. ma hanas ka.

mao.. ayaw jud kompyansa anang immunity2 sa first sem. dapat nimo i.save imo 6 units na pwede mahagbong for third year kay diha namo mag tigi nila Marquez, Torregosa ug Gravador. lol. Hagbong kag usa lang ka BAR sub sa first 2 years nimo, crucial na kaayu na.. tig 4 units usually ang mga BAR subs.. so if you fail one, lisod jd ig abot nimo third year.

thanks for the tip bro.. but again, i still don't plan to fail a single subject even if i was given immunity. In fact, i don't personally like the "immunity" concept. hehe.
