60/40 provision. Oh yeah, good luck repealing it. In both upper and lower houses, no one is interested.

I mean there's no point of living in the Philippines unless you're one of the few lucky individuals who got a good employment. Many Filipinos still working under a way below the minimum wage and it's almost a violation of human rights. Even public health employees aren't paid well. In other countries, they can pay you more than twice your current salary in the Philippines.

So what's the point of living in the Philippines? Politicians don't even care about you?!

Even the Philippine media are doing a great job of brainwashing Filipinos that being poor is better than being rich. Most protagonists in the Pinas that we love watching are the poor whilst the vile kontrabidas are the rich. Typical lines for the bidas are like this "Mahirap lang kami, pero nandito naman pamilya ko, so ok na'to".

Philippines is in a huge mess.

    GTFO. Don't say I didn't warn ya.

Come on guys, just admit that the real reason the Koreans are richer than we are is because they're smarter. This doesn't mean solving the issues mentioned here won't help, but come on. It's delusional to think that love for country will make the Philippines as rich as Korea. If Koreans love their country so much why are so many of them living here?

The main reason why South Korea, Japan and Singapore are more progressive than Philippines is because of CORRUPTION in Bisaya tungod sa mga Kawatan sa Gobyerno... Plus almost 10 years of rampant corruption under the administration of GMA...
