good day peeps, just ordered a palit 8800gts 320mb videocard. ugma pa mu arrive nako. im running windows xp professional with a 7300gt.

what should i do first before i will be able to play my games na with the new vc?

like drivers lang ba of 8800gts for windows xp ako knahanglan i-install? or is there something else i need... im currently playing tiberium wars karon.

thanks daan sa inyo help.. ive heard mangud nga dili cya pareha sa 7series nga cards where you can automatically play the games which are still dx 9.0c.

i would just install the forceware 160.03 beta

thats what im using right now,.... but on a 7series card

download daan 8800gts driver then uninstall current nvidia drivers,turn off pc, change vcard, boot then install 8800 gts driver then restart nasad hehe so far mao na ako na hibaw-an

1. uninstall your current geforce 7 drivers first...
2. when asked to reboot, do not reboot..instead shut down your pc..
3. remove your 7300gt video card
4. install your 8800gts video card
5. turn on pc
6. install 8800 series drivers for windows xp (i'm using forceware version 158.22(whql certified))
7. reboot when asked to reboot...
8. (this is optional) tweak your video card to which ever suits your needs in the display settings...
9. PLAY TILL YOUR EYES BLEED!!! hehe (joke)
10. sell your 7300gt video card!!

@zirv, thanks sa imo advise sa power supply, yup I already have a power supply that has 6pin connector hec550watts. Heheheh...

@tokie, heheh... Imo manjud gi-contrata daan. Ok rapud nako nga ibaligya ninyo but gi-reserve naman sako officemate. Heheheh... Mga 3,500 ako baligya niya.

Assuming na install na ang drivers of 8800gts for windows xp, will our current games that have dx9.0c run with no problems with this videocard? Or will the games need fixing or something like that? (allowed ra ba mu discuss ko ani? Basin ba considered piracy ni. Coz if dili allowed, I will not continue it.)
