This situation has so many possibilities as with many other situations! Everything depends mainly on how we handle the outcome. If both of you are mature enough to recognize what's best for the two of you, then everything will go just fine.
But still, you have crossed the line. And you will be apprehensive of the feelings of the other person (kung dili mutual ang feelings).
I think there are some techniques or styles on how to really find out kung unsa ang feeling sa other party.
Human Nature tells us that our decisions are influenced mainly by how we feel. Like for example, kung angry ang tao, oftentimes stupid decisions are made. Kung inlove, mostly dili gyud mapugngan na dili mapagawas. All emotion should have its PROPER outlet or else mobuto gyud ta! hehehe.

ang tendencies man gud, kung inlove ka sa imo friend, ma mis-interpret gyud nimo ang iyang mga actions. like say, kung gikuhit ka sa imo friend, mokusog lng ug kalit ang heartbeat, unya mag huna-huna dayon na inlove pud ang imo friend sa imoha! bwahahaha! and dili na dayon makatulog ug taron kai magsige nalng ug huna-huna sa kuhit! bwahahaha!
i bet almost everyone here have experiences like this.
