for ATM account lang (without passbook), 2k ang maintaining balance to garner interest sauna. ambot lang kaha karon.
mas nindot if with passbook pra maka-track ka sa in and out sa money.
5k maintaining balance for it to gain interest.

ADB or Average Daily Balance ang basihan ana sa maintaining balance. if mo below sa average daily balance, naay charges hangtod mahurot na ang balance, automatic close account na. don't know how many months nga "without" or gamay na kaayo balance ang considered as dormant and ma close na.

by the way, dormancy period sa BDO ky 2 years na siya. considered as dormant ang account when it has no movement at all, no deposits, no withdrawals. inquiring balance and updating the passbook is not counted.
