basa jud nako tanan ani na thread... you all made me realize nga wa koy nahibal-an about phone specs.. samot na unsa pa ang pang-buhaton para mu-nindot pa ang phone..

patabang unya ko ninyo tanan kung makapalit na ko.. pwede awat pud ko ninyo, hulaton na lang ni nako?hehehe dugay na ko gusto mupalit unta sa flare pero wa jud nagka-chance.. so, kani OHD na para mas nindot..

you simply cannot brick a Mediatek as i've found out myself

hehe, actually ma- brick man pero the point is dali ra kaayo pag-revive.

Added on Nov 23, 2012 - MT65xx is truly UNBRICKABLE

it seems that MT65xx is really 'unbrickable' thanks to whitetigerdk who inform me with his how-tos

So you can raise your DEAD MT65xx back to life...

The trick is quite simple, for whitetigerdk case, he flash his GooPhone Y5 with Zopo100 factory ROM & the phone went DEAD...

He proceed to reinstall preloader driver from Zopo & was able to use FlashTool again and flash back his factory GooPhone ROM & thats how he brought back his MT6575 back to life...

i've pm'ed whitetigerdk & got a reply from him confirming that indeed his GooPhone Y5 has this META mode built-in (plug in USB while holding VOL +)

Device Manager will detect new device... Having said that, not all MT65xx device has this feature...

personal experience nako is w/ my s3 clone w/c i thought at first was MT6577 as labeled.
until know i'm still not certain whether it's MT6575 or MT6515.

anyway, so i been flashing roms from similarly specs' devices - preloader and all
more than 25 times i've brick this s3 clone and in all instances i've brought it back to life
as easy as connecting the USB cable.

there are cases nga naglisod sila ug revive, it's usually either they have troubles installing the driver
or they don't have a working backup.

MTK phones are truly like the Moto E398 of old.
