some animals do that if they feel the need of eating their poop to consume back the nutrients present in their feces.
When adult dogs begin to eat stools, it may also be due to malabsorption of nutrients or to dietary nutritional deficiencies..
guinea pigs and rabbits do that, para ang nutrition mo balik ra...

give your dog another way to avoid him/her eating his poo..

this usually happens with my dogs when they were still puppies. but they soon outgrew it. they don't do it anymore 6 mos up.
