og unsa man sad kadaghan nga mahitabo nga mga typical smartphone users moprint og billboard sized pictures? naa na diay dakong market ana? kada picture nimo sa imong bakasyon or imong mga parties, imong ipaprint og billboard size or tarpulin? LOL. heck not too many people would even print anything more than a Letter Size paper for their favorite pictures
and if you really want to use pictures to advertise a product, why the hell would you use a camera phone instead of taking pictures with a REAL DSLR camera?
if you're an enthusiast in photography, you would know better than to just take pictures with a MERE camera phone
so in conclusion, pixel count is not all that
want more proof? try looking for the Sony Xperia Z (13MP) samples and compare that against iPhone 5 (8MP) or a Galaxy S3 (8Mp) and see if the difference is really that significant for typical use. heck there's even some samples where the 13MP look considerably worse than the 8MP cameras.
if it's already more than 5MP, the picture quality in a camera phone is dictated more by the camera sensor AND the software processing used to produce that picture
