Most of the music scholars agree The Beatles is the greatest band of all time. Just listen to some of the past and present great bands, they said they were one way or the other influenced by the Beatles. They are one of the very few bands that whose albums continue to sale up to now though their era belong to the 60s.

It really depends on whom you are asking that question.
Personally, I place Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd higher than The Beatles. That my top 3, led zep and floyd can be swapped for the #1 and #2

Agree here also... Beatles is the all time number 1 band. They are the legends, the History and they are the one we called MUSIC... Amen!!

Guys if you go over to Wikipedia on the Beatles it says, " They became the most commercialy successfull and critically acclaimed act in the rock music era. I am not aware of any band that has this rare distinction. I am ready to be proven wrong.
