exactly bai, not all that has realtion to the sun is of pagan worship.

kay for us Christians, others may claim that the sun god is someone else, para nato there is only One and True God and that is in the person of Jesus Christ or the Holy Trinity
and even if there were adaptations in the RCC on some of the pagan practices,
they were adaptations for the sake of connection and not of compromise as the said adaptations
in the first place, took roots in Sacred Scriptures and Tradition.
just like 2 people talking, one is a pagan worshiper and the other a Christian
pagan said, i worship the sun for i believe it is the source of life, i believe the name of the sun god is mithra ug uban pa...
the Christian confirms it, Yes the sun indeed gives light and life, but not the sun that we see but the sun of Righteousness who is
in the person of Jesus Christ the One true God...then the conversation continues...
another scenario:
a katutubo and a Christian talked about God, the katutubo said i believe that we are loved by the "lumikha"(the creator) we call Him Bathala
the Chrsitian confirms it, i believe in that too, we call Him Father, because we are His children through Jesus
in that case, we both believe in Bathala...then the conversation continues...
unless we ought to use contradictions when trying to relate to the person we are talking to
in this time, we would never see pagans converted to Christianity. or converts for the matter.
