exactly bai, not all that has realtion to the sun is of pagan worship.
kay for us Christians, others may claim that the sun god is someone else, para nato there is only One and True God and that is in the person of Jesus Christ or the Holy Trinity

and even if there were adaptations in the RCC on some of the pagan practices,
they were adaptations for the sake of connection and not of compromise as the said adaptations
in the first place, took roots in Sacred Scriptures and Tradition.

just like 2 people talking, one is a pagan worshiper and the other a Christian

pagan said, i worship the sun for i believe it is the source of life, i believe the name of the sun god is mithra ug uban pa...
the Christian confirms it, Yes the sun indeed gives light and life, but not the sun that we see but the sun of Righteousness who is
in the person of Jesus Christ the One true God...then the conversation continues...

    another scenario:

a katutubo and a Christian talked about God, the katutubo said i believe that we are loved by the "lumikha"(the creator) we call Him Bathala
the Chrsitian confirms it, i believe in that too, we call Him Father, because we are His children through Jesus
in that case, we both believe in Bathala...then the conversation continues...

unless we ought to use contradictions when trying to relate to the person we are talking to
in this time, we would never see pagans converted to Christianity. or converts for the matter.

my additional question which i think most RCs are not aware of is about the SUN WORSHIP. Unsa ang doctrine about aning sun worship instead of Jesus Christ?

    details here....
    Sun Worship (Baal Worship)
    Sun Worship
misleading man au ni nga question bro esp ang mga proof, worse case if true ang gihatag nimo nga proof d lang RCC ang affected asta sad ang uban christian sects ang nka lahi lang is ang RCC uses both the bible and the sun symbols while other religious sects uses the bible only..

nagstorya nman lang jud ka ug SUN WORSHIP sa RCC can you site at least 1 prayer and post it here to strengthen your claims that RCC prays for the SUN as their God..

i never encounter such doctrine bro and t'wast even taught by the RCC either..

Judas Iscariot - dba prophesized man nga si Jesus i betray nya i condemn to death? So does that mean nga g betray rani Judas si Jesus kay unfortunately siya man ang g tagaan ni God a2 nga role pra ma fulfill ang sacrifice. So in a way mura syag si Snape sa harry potter in which gpakta sa public nga bad guy sya pero in turns out nga mura syag unsung hero or unsa.

Please let me put it this way,
I think God did not use
    but only allow,
for we do have that what so called
free will. He could have prevent it
but God is so adroit he did
able to manipulate evil at that time
    inadvertently aiding in the greater
plan to absolve us from our sins.
By placing so much pain on Jesus
    Christ in our behalf.

I didn't say God used him like a puppet but i meant it was planned (since he allowed it to happen to fulfill a greater purpose) that he would betray Jesus eventually. Despite the free will given in a way he was given no choice if it was already planned from the start.
I'm not saying I'm correct or anything just wondering.
Besides I saw or read something that Judas was the least sinfull among the disciples. Not sure if accurate thought.

well if you think about it, we are all like Judas in our own ways, we exchange Jesus in every other bit of earthly pleasures...
but is this our Destiny? to betray God? and to fall short from his grace? our destiny is to be with God, be forgiven and be reconciled
and so does Judas, but Judas killed himself instead, allowing guilt to overcame him instead of accepting Christ forgiveness
oh well, Judas in the hands of God now, judging him won't do us any good as it is not our job to play judge in the first place..
as it isn't our destiny to be damned but to be saved.

have you ever experienced sharing your learnings through the mistakes you did and in effect it blessed others?
Judas testimony about betraying Jesus and received His forgiveness could have been a very powergul testimony of God's Love despite of our failures and unfaithfulness..
in the same way as Thomas the doubter, peter who denied Jesus, Saul who persecutes Chrsitians(widely known as the Apostle Paul)
and the others who accepted Chrsit's forgiveness and redeeming Love who were able to bless people to the ends of the earth down to us on this very day
though their lives and testimony about how a sinner can be a saint.

I think the notion defy our capability to
think for ourselves as what Judas suppose to be,
The greater plan was to sacrifice Jesus Christ in order
to cleanse us from our sins, without Judas that could be still possible,
for Jesus Christ is on such a circumstance that He is already wanted
by the authorities then, But because of Judas in need of money
he unknowingly presented himself to become a part of the greater plan.
