Hello Community,
This park is part of the Aberdare Mountain Range, and encompasses fascinating landscapes. Kenya's third largest park, its dramatic mountains, and lush jungle valleys gave rise to the Kikuyu legend that it is one of the homes of Ngai (God). The range was named after the then President of the Royal Geographical Society by the intrepid Scot, Joseph Thomson, who explored the region in 1883.
Thanks and Regards,
