palit lang harddisk enclosure bai... inyo siguro-a nga ang imong harddisk is fat32 formatted. dagan ra lagi na for sure...

partition magic is ok for repartitioning drives, reallocating sectors, converting file systems... but as a maintenance/repair tool... medyo kulang siya, especially if naay damage and hard disk... try using ntfs recovery applications from the drive's manufacturer gyud... i suggest maxtor's line of hard drive support software... puede ma gamit sa seageate, western digital ug uban pa... verify with the brand's site kung unsa ilang mga support software... naka recover kog more than 80 gigs of "faulty" allocated stuff using Maxtor's utility... it got busted when i tried to reallocate a 200 gig drive using partition magic... low level format dayon after, and the drive's good as new...

As for using a "regular" hard drive as an external device, i suggest using an IDE to USB converter nga walay enclosure... ngano? puede nimo ma taoran ug DVD-Burner nga internal... and it only costs 250 pesos...

mga bais, naguba ako hard disk unya dili na ma detect ang fmga files kinsa kamao diri mo recover sa files? i don't care kun di na maayo ang HDD basta ma recover lang nako ang files...palihug tabangi intawn ko ninyo
