ang relatinship or unsa inyo gibuhat para mapugngan ang inyo feelings.

my mom is half chinese and half pinay.... my dad is pure cebuano....

usually according to my mom... dili kau mu matter ang mga chinese nga naa na tawo sa PINAS.... though there is still a sense of animosity towards other race like sa FILIPINO... but usually ang gitanaw sa mga parents kay ang kinaiya jud ug if ang GUY (pure pinoy) - KUGIHAN ba mangita ug kwarta jud... para dili magutman ilang anak nga babaye....

NOW to those coming from the mainlands... they ARE WAY WAY TOO STRICT when it comes to intermarriages jud.... sila ang mag buot para sa ilang anak... and BUYA is still prevalent among the family and relatives.... so if and if man gani pure chinese na inyong uyab.... watch out lang mo sa parents ana kay... though they are sometimes nice at you when your there... but lahi na ang batasan ana when your aren't there anymore.... they can miniscule and discriminate another race esp pinoys/pinays and if they think the family of that girl/guy nga uyab sa ilang anak doesnt have enough 'dough' at all..... aw... the dad/father will be the very strong opponent of your relationship jud.

Based on my experience, it depends actually....

BUT, most pure chinese families, especially the traditional ones, would really want their kids or family to be linked with pure chinese families lang pod... For some, their reasons would be for business sake, mao na naay buya sa ilaha kay in a way gusto nila na ilang legacy and richness would still continue on sa future generations...

For some, and I don't mean to say it in an offensive manner but mura ra sad sa ancient egypt sauna na they marry off their cousins or close relatives or worst, SIBLINGS (Sisters or brothers) para dilia mapasa sa lain na family ang ilang yaman etc.... Even if they don't marry the one they love... for family sake, for family honor, they go through that...

But then again, pairing up a pure chinese with a pure chinese is not a sure fire recipe for success in business etc kay sa akong case for example, am not chinese, naa mn gani sa akong dugo, perti jud kagamaya...and I married a chinese guy.... BUT, between him and me, mas AKO pa ang negosyante while sya is the other way around! So depende ra jud na sya
