Hard to believe no, a mere kite string was enough to stop the turbine engine of a Huey? I read another report where the witness said the rotor blade stopped twirling. Very unusual because if it runs out of fuel, a helicopter's rotor still twirls.
I thought kite flying is illegal around airports.
