according to pastor nate robinson (CCF pastor) sa iyang lecture regarding confession, kanang mangumpisal ka dapat daw direct ka mo confess sa imong sa sala sa kang father GOD, dili na daw nimo ipaagi sa kay kung kinsa..... nakalimot lang ko sa scriptures sa o verses sa bible..... but akong ganahan jud basahon ang book of malachi..... sa malachi gud daghan ka mahibaw an nga mga infos ug revelations.... back to confession kung mo confess ka dapat seryoso ka nga kanang imong mga sala nga gibuhat iminimize nimo or dli na nimo buhaton..... o galing lang kitang mga tawo makasasala in nature..... kana daw nga mo pray dapat your own words, in every prayer dapat ang content kay i confess imong mga sala, mangayo ug blessings, pagpasalamat sa blessing nga nadawat..... better TS magbasa ka ug bible.....

depende ra jud na bro, there is no restriction really about forgiveness of sins, whether receiving the sacrament of confession in Catholicism, or how protestants do it directly to God.
though Catholics go to the Priest for confession, it doesn't really mean that they cannot go directly to God
in fact the very moment a Catholic considers confessing his sins, He is already confessing them to God
the sacrament of confession plays a major role in helping the sinner be cleansed from guilt, a physical execution of
a humble and repentant heart.
hence when Jesus forgave sins, He would utter these words physically, "your sins have been forgiven"
though before Jesus even affirms the forgiveness of that soul's sins, with that person's faith, He has already been forgiven..
However within our reality that though we are forgiven, guilt feelings would still find its way to crawl up into our hearts mao we find ourselves condemning ourselves for the sins that have been cleansed by Jesus through the cross.

Jesus physically affirming the truth about our forgiveness is actually the remission of guilt. mao pud nang Sacrament of Confession.
Jesus passed that task to His Apostles when He breathed the Holy Spirit to them.

Dont bring your discussion and arguments here . This is entirely for the QUESTIONS for the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH .

For the record , when the BLESSED SACRAMENTS are administered , for example in the Sacrament of Reconciliation ( confession ) it is actually Jesus forgiving your sins and not the priest. The priest is only a tool physically. Just like the rest of the sacraments being administered .

Obviously , you are one of those who dont know anything because you relied on stories you get without verifiable and truthful information. It would be better for you to criticized RCC as long as you know RCC . What do you know about RCC ?
