Ako pud bro, maypagka minimalist sad ko'g taste sa audio gear. Kontento ra ko'g volume and tone controls. I don't even use an EQ kay maka add ug distortion gamay. Wa pa sad nun ko ka try ug digital EQ. Basta para nako, applicable ra ang EQ kung bati ug acoustics ang room. It is better to cut a frequency than to boost.

accdg. pud sa ako research, ang kani daw playstation1 mao daw ni the best na player para sa audio cd, nagmahay na noon ko da ngano ako to gibaligya hehehe at least masuwayan unta nako kung sakto ba ning mga audiophile..


but para sa ako there's no right and wrong, kay kada isa sa ato naay preference na sound..

basta sa ako as long as madunggan nako ang bass, guitar, ang cymbals, keyboards sa song then balance siya walay mo labaw, then maayo ang imo set up...

so far sa ako mga experimentation, the best by far is the Vinyl...

next ang CD esp kato mga 90's releases...

the worst kay mp3's and cassette tapes (well what do you expect aning cassette tapes mabungol man gyud ni madugay hehehe)

pero thanks sa mga recent technology kay ni arang arang na ang iya quality, but still inferior to vinyl and CD's esp. kung imo na gyud pakusgan ang speaker diha nimo makita ang katag........

yep ang LP mao nay long play or plaka


kana distortion ma minimize na esp. if ang cartridge og stylus imo ilisdan og Shure na brand

Yup, pareha pud ta bro, d pud ko ganhan mga gadgets kay kasagaran mp3 ang isud. Bati ug sound kay compressed na. Lami gyud tong mga LP ug 90's CDs ang i collect kay d pa uso ang Loudness Wars. But d nlng ko mangambsyun ug LP ui kay nihit kaau sa ato. Unsa nga pioneer imo bro kato nang mga Silver Series? Ganahn ko sa ilang SX mga models sa Receivers. I think pg mid 70's to early 80's to siya gimanufacture. Naa ko diri Pioneer SA 8800 currently doing home theater duty Mo post nya kog pics sa akong 2 ka set up

karon pako ka notice na tube amp man diay na.. grabe na kamahal ang tube amp, tube sounds best on vinyl..

dili lng pud ni praktical ang tube amp cause it cost more compare sa mga solid state na amp.

but if you have money its very tempting to buy one of these..


ang nakanindot gud sa vinyl if naka notice gyud mo, mura naa mo sa tunga tunga sa band na nag play, or naa ka sa recording studio..

ingon ana gyud ka clear and crisp ang iya sound quality klaro kaayo ang reverb...

My budget for the speaker + sub is 50K and for the sound preference/genre are rock, rap, pop, techno, house etc. Ill pair these speakers to my imac. Im planning on getting a dac too.
