Mag debate mo si TS ra gyud bahala mo decide. D mo mag daog. hehehe

Hayahay kaau murag ni skwele cya college in just a month's training.

kung company na nga bukot bukot nga walay due process on performance appraisal, aw..seguro pwede ra ang "lack of experience" but if you youre working with a company nga tarong ug naay ensaktong pamalaod ug handbook. d sad basta basta maka terminate lang kay lack of experience. Basin wa lang kaayo nimo nasabtan ang rason TS. either wa kaayo nimo nasabtan or wa sad maayo pagka explain nimo.

It already happened naman, so di nato ma-undo... all you can do for now is find a better job na di basta basta magterminate or magpataka rag terminate... and something that you deserve.

Rule of the thumb, dont ever put that company in your resume... its not neccesary!

    You know better.

For now, you feel bad about it kay bag-o paman.... In a while kataw-an rana nimu.... promise!

the reason why im asking what company she's working with is because if it's a small organization or business, there's a high chance she was terminated due to re-engineering,redundancy of positions, cost cutting and the likes. if it's a big/more structured company, it might be because she was not able to reach the metrics/standard they need blahblah.

let's say, if she's working as a business or QA analyst, and the other person she said has less experience but can actually think better, and the company just realized 1 QA/business analyst can do the workload alone, do you think they'd say "we prefer this employee coz she can think better than you or her IQ is way above than yours or you always commit mistakes, or you're always loading slow" i agree it's a stupid lame reason for the termination but it's over and it's the nicest reason they could think of. If it was me who axed her tenure, i'd tell her everything and explain why.

Regarding hiring poor performer, i believe no company can filter the best applicant during the hiring process that's why there's always assessment, appraisal, evaluations -monthly, quarterly, yearly etc. you can't blame an employer alone if the employee is not performing. the root cause doesnt always direct you to the employer. there are a gazillion reasons. this is also the reason why there's 5-6months probationary period.

if you have a company and you notice someone who's lazy, always tardy etc, would you be patient enough and spend additional resources? if the income of the business is more than enough, i'd probably give more incentives but performance is already the required task of an employee.

please elaborate why you said it's illegal dismissal? I'll quote TS' post below.

Im thinking the case of TS is redundancy of positions or cost cutting. politics is everywhere and it happens anytime. go to DOLE or NLRC di ba kataw.an lang ka.lol

anyway, i'd still pick and let the blond, hot chick stay/ lol
Bro next time you should know how to read thoroughly...

this thread clearly states her employment status...and to be terminated for that reason? it will not benefit TS...

Also the termination fee was just sugar coating so that you will not feel aggravated in a sense...(employer's strategy)

You have a point that TS work was performance based and sad to say most BPO's are focus on that instead of personnel empowerement they will just scrap you easily if you fail with the given metrics - poor thing. That's one reason the attrition rate is high - IMHO that's not a good business practice.

Btw it's not with BIG or small type of company it's more of the industry.

Lastly on hiring process I beg to disagree with your view - recruitment is totally different process from performance appraisal. You might want to review your notes on this.

In recruitment the main purpose would be hiring the best applicant - you stated that there's no way to filter an applicant right? Again you are wrong...that's why some companies requires bio-data, curriculum vitae, etc. and more to that background investigation to be able to hire the best applicant.

I don't intend to argue over this but then again just a reminder to all who are employed - know your rights and no one will take advantage of you.

TS Good luck anyway! Best of all learn from your experience...

Terminated gyud dili Retrench for redundancy sa work? Kung termination, you should have done something nga bug-at nga kaso, I would rather resign then be terminated kung magkuha ka ug certificate possible bya na ibutang nganung na separate ka sa company bati paminawn sa sunod nimo nga applyan...

G-unsa man pagstorya? Were you served with a Termination Letter? What are their basis? Naa bay Performance Appraisal nga gipirmahan ninyo sa imong immediate superior to justify the cause? Since gi regular man ka meaning nakameet ka sa ilang standards... Naa jud lain nga rason TS..

    nope....

who wants to employ somebody who has been previously terminated manpud?

I mean, it's about selling yourself....

Sad to say tinuod ni, "when the sale comes first and the truth comes second" as per Jessie J.

These days, di ka mabuhi if you don't have the money. You simply can't.

So people need jobs, therefore sell themselves.

Show what you CAN do, NOT what you CAN'T do kumbaga....

You can tell them that you've been terminated if you've proven your worth at first.

    Been there naman.

Believe me, I've been through a LOT. therefore I know. I may not be The EXPERT, but I know just enough kay nakaagi naman pud ko.

pero it's a person's choice man what he wants to put in a resume, it's also up to the employers if they're gonna like what's in it
