Our office uses Globe Broadband and every now and then we lost internet connection.

Everyone has had a sad experience with either DSL provider. There are just several issues as to why your DSL drops off or disconnects. Not just distance from the CO; you also have to look at internal and external phone wiring, and see if those need replacement. You may also try doing tests at your NID, or your phone box, to rule out internal wiring issues. I think Globe or PLDT should have more info on that. How about the presence of load coils or bridge taps?

I really doubt if PLDT or Globe does extensive testing on your phone line or loop to see if DSL signals will be stable enough; they'll probably just sign you up for your cash. Bad cheetah.

BTW, can you order bare bones DSL service (DSL internet without phone service) from PLDT? I've heard it's only possible through Globe.

hmmm btw...bag-o ra ko nisubscribe ug DSL unlimited kadtong 384 kbps nga package sa Globelines for 1,995...to be installed next week pa...any advice on what to check or questions to ask the installer or things to have him do?

sa una kay pldt vibe amo gamit magcge pud lagi ka disconnect. ambot lang sa pldt dsl. karon globelines unlimited, so far ok ra man ang speed ug ang billing. sulti sa ako cousin basta daw mag kusog kau uwan mawagtang ang globelines, mura sakto pud ako cousin.

I'm using GlobeLines Broadband the unlimited 384 Kbps..
it works just fine...
no problem whatsoever..
