he set the standards for excellence by raising the bar very high and resulted to a very successful basketball organization. now it is up to his kids to emulate and even ( God willing) surpass the lofty standards set by their illustrious father.

Unfortunately Jim seems to be breaking what his father built , hope this franchise doesn't follow to the ground. Sad!

as a lakers fan, i feel terribly sad for dr. jerry buss' passing. the entire NBA will eventually learn what they have lost in the coming days. rest in peace dr. buss.
