Even my old Acer's capacitors started leaking after about three years. My ECS, bought at about the same time, is still working, but every time I unplug, it's like it has no battery and I have to run setup again. I've replaced the battery three times, but other than that, it's outlasted the Acer.

I was looking at prices, and found that Biostar motherboards are among the least expensive. Has anyone had any experience with this brand? How quickly do the capacitors start leaking?

Actually noh.. Im working in an electronic company... Its not the brand name but the model design... Each platform has its designers and pool of engineers that why there are different models for every platform... Depende ra jud na sa ila model sa motherboard.... Ang deign and parts.. but the parts in the motherboard cannot be determined iya lifespan.. coz if 1 part will fail the neighboringparts will also fail... Thats why mu.ingon dayon ta na bati na motheroboard!!! Bati ang brand!!! Bati ang manufacturer... Nway just an input lang...

Heya, guys... was just wondering something... I was browsing through the website of ECS and was looking at this model -

My question is... Does this motherboard have an integrated video or built-in graphics in it? I browsed through other motherboards from ECS and found they have a "graphics" section in their specifications..this model however has none...does this mean that it needs an external graphics card to run graphics or videos?..
